WESTERN CAPE FLYING TRAINING CENTRE

WCFTC was opened 2000 and has grown from strength to strength, being recognised as one of the most friendly yet professional training centres in the Western Cape.

Johann Froneman, an A Grade Instructor MPL and GPL, heads up the operation and has had more than 27 years of flying experience with 17 years of instructing. He is an AP on all Microlights, Gyro's and Home Builts.

He started the Easter Flight Centre (Witbank) and ran that for 5 years, then opened up Upington Microlight Flying Training Centre and has since moved to Saldanha and is the current owner of WCFTC.

Maritza is the Administrator and keeps a very tight ship based at Saldanha Airport insuring that things run smoothly and that the men do not get out - of - hand.

Training is done 7 days a week (weather permitting). Plans are in the pipeline to provide accommodation for those students wishing to do full time training whilst staying at the airfield.

MPL, NPL and GPL training is done including all lectures and practical.
